Teacher Resources.
Right now I think that on this week 8 we got a long list of teacher resources.  What I think is that although these resources are on the web, free for everybody, we have to be conscious about the way we use these tools.  I think that we have to plan an ABCD objective for each activity, like puzzles, scrambles, bingo etc. I have seen that many teachers use them because they did not plan anything, or because they just want to wais time, to have students doing something instead of use them as a tool connected with our lesson plan programs.
I create a verb exercise, for one of my beginners group. I also practice with Google doc.
The idea to have these exercises done or to be able to elaborate yours covering your students needs is a time saving for teachers like us, who are busy all day all night.

  1. Hello Andrea ,
Your right this week is rich !
Yes plan is a must .Technology has tools but it doesn't have the brain to think for you .In fact it gets very tricky when we deal with it unconsciously . Still it reduces time and efforts that could be invested to create a better learning .

  2. hello Andrea!
You are right, this week we learned about some great online resources that we can use in our classes. You are also right that we have to carefully plan how to use those resources, they are always as effective as teachers who use them. As you say, we must use such tools to improve the learning process, and not just ot kill time, and make fun.
    Have a great day,

  3. You are right Andrea; there are plenty of advantages of using technology in EFL classrooms for providing easy, practical and authentic activities as well as creative tasks. Although technology does not substitute for a good teacher it will motivate the language learners and enrich classroom atmosphere.

  4. Hello Andrea,

I have seen the crossword you published in the wiki, it's very nice. I have a question? Did you do it in the tools for educators site? How did you save the URL to share it? I have designed some crosswords and puzzles but as soon as I close the site they disappear.
I'd really appreciate your help, please.

    Regards,
    Mónica
