I will
like to tell you how useful these two tools have been in my teaching daily
live.
I know that almost all, who
form this group, are adults, I will like to put on practice these tools with
adolescents, I have not tried them yet, my question is. Are they mature enough
to be reading and to answer, as well as to reflect on their knowledge???
I will like to know if
someone has practice this with students from 15 to 18 years old. Please share
your experience with me. I really will appreciate that.
Hi Andrea!
ReplyDeleteLast year, I started using blogs with my high school students and my college students. In both cases, students post frequently and made comments, but I had to monitor high school students and scaffold them constantly. It is hard work since it was a new teaching strategy for me and they were not used to blogging. They did not even had a Google account or blog before. I had to explain them how to create a blog and we did it together in a computer lab. Most of the entries were writing in class in a computer lab because some of them did not have internet connection at home or did not want to do homework. My college students had autonomy and their language in use was much better, but guess what? They were less motivated.
